The Irish Premiere of Maya Angelou; And Still I Rise received a glorious reception at the Hay Festival, Kells. Afterwards, its co-director, Bob Hercules chatted on stage with Guth Gafa director, David Rane before taking questions from the audience. It captured the essence of Guth Gafa: compelling, thought-provoking story-telling followed by lively audience engagement with the filmmaker. Such was its popularity, we will be re-screening it at the Guth Gafa International Documentary Film Festival 3-7 August in a packed programme of stunning films from all over the world.
