Award-winning Swedish director, Bosse Lindquist has been invited by the Guth Gafa team to take over the Screen Training Ireland workshop slot on Sunday 19th, following the withdrawal by Cambodian/US director, Kalyanee Mam, due to a sudden illness.  We extend our best wishes to Kalyanee for a speedy recovery, and thank Bosse for standing in at short notice.

Next Generation is a Student Documentary Film Competition, open to final year and postgraduate student groups and individuals from colleges on the island of Ireland.  Selected films will screen during the 7th Guth Gafa Festival (16th to 19th May 2013) and awards and prize ceremony will be on the final day of Guth Gafa – Sunday 19th May.

The Guth Gafa International Documentary Film Festival this year returns to Donegal for its’ 7th edition, which will take place in the picturesque village of Malin on the tip of the Inishowen Peninsula from May 16th-19th.
