Made in Louth/Meath Submissions Call

Made in Louth/Meath Submissions Call

The Guth Gafa International Documentary Film Festival is inviting filmmakers who work in Louth and Meath to submit new work for a special ‘Made in Louth/Meath’  strand which will be part of this year’s programme.

Guth Gafa is celebrating its tenth birthday with a longer family-oriented festival at the earlier time of 3-7 August in Kells, County Meath.

More films, outdoor events and a special programme for children are just some of the highlights of this year’s biggest ever Guth Gafa festival which will return to Headfort House and Kells for the third consecutive year.

Guth Gafa will accept short or feature documentaries on any human rights, social action and environmental issue subjects, completed since January 2015 by a filmmaker(s) working in the Louth/Meath area (or a film by an Irish filmmaker that was shot in the Louth/Meath area) and that have not yet been broadcast.

Submission is completely free and online and the submission form can be accessed at this link:

Announcing the opening of submissions, Festival Director, David Rane said;

“We look forward to receiving work from Irish filmmakers, Louth and Meath filmmakers, and film students for consideration for this year’s special tenth festival.”
