As part of #HayFestivalKells Guth Gafa is presenting a double bill tribute to two great writers, beloved Irish novelist, poet and playwright, Dermot Healy and Maurice Sendak, author of the children’s classic, Where the Wild Things Are.
The Writing in the Sky, celebrating Healy in his spectacular West Sligo home will be screened on Friday 24 June at 4.30pm at the Kells Theatre followed by Tell Them Anything You Want, a deeply moving portrait of Sendak, whose lifelong obsession with death has subtly and ironically influenced his work.
