This film is part of a larger VR series, Home that was shot over a seven-month period between August 2015 and March 2016 on location in the refugee camp dubbed ‘The Jungle’ in Calais, France.

The narrative is based on an interview with a 22-year old Sudanese refugee, escaping the threat of murder, who’s been renamed Aamir in order to protect his identity.  This film is created in association with Surround Vision and Room One, and is a project from the National Theatre’s Immersive Storytelling Studio.
