As part of the 10th Guth Gafa International Film Festival in August 2016, a Young Filmmaker’s Camp will take place over 3 days in Headfort House, Kells where children aged 9-12 and teenagers aged 13-16 have an opportunity to take part in a schedule of activities including watching specially selected film screenings and meeting with filmmakers along with other activities centered around music, outdoor sports, art activities and filmmaking workshops.
Taking place from 10am – 4pm each day from Thursday 4th August to Saturday 6th August, the camp will be split into two age groups of 9 – 12 and 13 – 16.
The cost is €80 per child with a 10% discount for siblings (i.e., €72 per sibling).

While your kids are at the camp, parents are invited to stay at the festival and watch great documentary films, relax in our festival cafe and social spaces, enjoy music, delicious snacks and a cup of coffee, iced tea or soft drink while your children participate in the following activities!
