Top Award for Guth Gafa
Guth Gafa International Documentary Film Festival has won a Carlton Best of Festivals Marketing Award in the category Best Total Marketing Message for their marketing campaign in 2009.
The Festival Marketing Awards are run in association with AOIFE, the Association of Irish Festival Events.
Guth Gafa, which will be hosting it’s 5th Annual event in June 2010, was shortlisted with two other Festivals - the Aisling Childrens’ Arts Festival and the Ennis Book Club Festival - for the top prize.
As a young Festival, competing against the more than 400 other Festivals who are members of AOIFE, Guth Gafa's achievement is quite spectacular, and tribute should be paid to Guth Gafa's designer, Anna Pawlak, who has been responsible for the design of their website, programme and promotional material for the last 3 years.
